I don't know, this song makes me sad all the time. Such dark lyrics ... Note the irony in lyrics when he says "king Jeremy". Video is kind of confusing in the end. Only recently I came to know that, it's not Jeremy killing all the students in the class, but it's him, killing himself.

Something New...

Well, I just played around with the background of the blog, added a running text in the status bar...

Background: In the Template -> Edit HTML, I changed the Background URL. Well, before that I created the background. Ain't this background cute? :-)

Calvin and Hobbes pictures are stolen from here. I uploaded the image to my google pages. Then used that URL to change the background.

For running text in status bar, I shamelessly copy pasted the code from this blog. Kushi , Thank you.

The text running is the lyrics of song "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol. The song is slow paced, beautifull beautiful lyrics.

But there is a problem. Since there is a text running, the complete URL of any link are displayed only for a second or so. How can I make the status bar show the URL links as long as I keep the mouse on a link? I am not much of a HTML/XHTML guy. Some help please... [ By the way you can also steal that code from this blog. I will let you figure out how to make it work for your blog/page ]

Time and time again, I've been advised to "Under Promise, Over Deliver" from my "seniors" in office.

Time and time again, I've always done the opposite :)

Whenever a new work/assignment comes to me, I tend to estimate very less time for that, then regret it :(

I am in a similar situation now. But I've managed to pull two more collegues colleagues along with me this time!!

Spellings

All my friends know that I am terribly weak in spellings and vocabulary. I take quite some time to phrase frame a sentense sentence... So, below every post, I will be listing all the new words and the old words for which I learnt the spelling while typing.

P.S. : I've spelt "terribly" and "spelt" correctly... yay yay... ...

One Life...

You must have heard "you get to live only once, live it to the fullest... Learn how much ever that is possible... bak bak.. blah blah..."

But actually thinking of it, people DO NOT spend much time on new stuffs. They want to learn something through which they can get a decent earning, get settled down...

Mostly, if you cross 35-40, you stop learning completely. That's it. Period. There is a kind of specific pattern in most of people's life. Earn enough money, then spend it.

I have been wondering what it meant to live the life to the fullest. How would you go about learning new things. How not to worry about being eccentric.

It is not easy to learn new things. Well, nothing in life is easy anyway. But, when you do a day job to earn your living, you end up spending most of the time in that work itself. By the time you earn enough to lead a decent life, you are exhausted and probably want to lead a retired life...

I started to wonder if I am living life to the maximum. No, not even close to it. I wanted to change, I started to blog :)

P.S. : I am just wondering if I have any conclusion or theme to be portrayed in this post. Looks like I couldn't bring out any... so the below label suits perfectly : D
